Dun Laoghaire Choral Society, in partnership with Co-Orch Dublin and Cantairi Avondale, are delighted to present Giuseppe Verdi's epic masterpiece Verdi's Requiem.

This production brings together a 75-piece symphony orchestra led by celebrated violinist Michael D'Arcy and over 100 singers conducted by Dun Laoghaire’s own John Doyle, one of the most exciting Irish conductors of his generation. Acclaimed Irish soloists Sandra Oman (Soprano), David Howes (Bass), Raphaela Mangan (Mezzo-soprano) and David Lynn (Tenor) will complete the ensemble.

All proceeds will go towards our charity partner the Marie Keating Foundation who do incredible work to support those diagnosed with cancer.

‘Verdi’s Requiem is a once in a lifetime work, the Olympia is a once in a lifetime venue, and April 1 is going to be a once in a lifetime performance. 200 performers giving it everything they have  in one of the greatest works of dramatic music ever written. Never mind Spinal Tap - THIS is turning the amp to 11! And, it’s all in aid of a fantastic cause - the Marie Keating Foundation. What’s not to love!’
